Casper is someone who would rather blend to society as normally as possible, after all he is only in all this mess for Phantom. He is the quick wits and backup muscle of the team, and pretty much keeps everyone in check. He wouldn’t really be labeled as a serial killer, because he doesn’t kill just anyone, just the people he is assigned to kill. Casper does focus on the team quite a bit, but normally he’s just caught up in schoolwork. Priorities are 1. School, 2. Phantom, 3.Team/Job. I don’t know how much I need to emphasize just how into his schoolwork he is.
Casper is perfectly human, totally normal, no way in any shape or form is he abnormal human-wise, He just has a very extensive knowledge of a lot of things, like firearms, chemicals, and……math. Although fisticuffs is also his thing, he prefers long ranged attacks…….no need to die that quickly. Plus long range leaves room for strategy, which is a thousand times better than just jumping through pure impulse like Lysander. He is very calculating and very strategic, which makes up for being a spy I guess.
As for personality, well he is a very simple person. He is definitely a very level headed person, the most sane of the bunch, after Vaati. Although even Vaati gives in from time to time. He analyses everything, therefore he has to criticize a lot, its in his nature, he can’t help it. If something seems very off he will raise hell about it, even the littlest thing like something being out of place sets him off. Casper is incredibly loyal though, he is a fan of serving others and getting credit if they succeed at what helped the person with, he takes pride in it. Speaking of which he is a really prideful SOB. It pisses Phantom off from time to time, of course; Casper tries to curb it but when he sees an opportunity he goes for it. He is incredibly addicted to learning new things, which is why he normally hangs around Nicolau, who is pretty much a super genius, a very warped super genius. Casper is really fascinated by the intellectual people, he often gets jealous of the knowledge of others.Casper can also be very outgoing one minute but very withdrawn the next, his mood very much depends on how he woke up the same morning.
As relationships go he is really close to his mom. I mentioned him having priorities and listed them from most to the least important earlier, but his mom is pretty freakin important. She is also fully aware of what Casper does as his job, but she understands his reason, I mean besides being with Phantom, they are pretty freakin broke, and these jobs gets Casper a ton of money. He just wants to give his mommy a better life *teary eyed*. His relationship with Phantom is really emotional, and not so much physical. Casper is one of those significant things that helped Phantom with his depression(specifically atypical depression) and suicidal thoughts, so yeah they’re kinda close. Casper actually stopped him while he was in the middle of an attempt. Phantom was a liiiiiittle pissed off about that at the time, when this happened they barely knew each other and Casper was new to the team. Casper also softened Phantom up a bit, Phantom was just……so withdrawn, he came off as a hateful person, as if he wanted to kill everyone in sight. He was just kinda sick of living and found nothing to live for really, (depressing i know, but that’s the point). Phantom also felt like a disgusting monster because of his mutation, like inadequate and all that, Casper kinda put him on this pedestal that made him feel like his mutation didn’t matter. Which, as you well imagine, feeling like he was actually accepted, made him elated, and gave him whole ‘nother outlook on life.
